Nothing Gold Can Stay

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes out to day.

Nothing gold can stay.

A poem by Robert Frost.

  1. Are those mustard flowers in the second picture? They are beautiful.

  2. Thank you for stopping by, sweetbay. Yes, they are mustard flowers.

  3. Lovely variety of photos. Captures California coastal life perfectly. Thank you.

I am so glad you have stopped by!
